Our "Plug & Play" Handlebar Switch Extension (CAN Bus) is Designed and Tested to Extend your Wiring Without Causing any Harm or Interference to the Motorcycles Computer When Installing Taller Handlebars, Making the Installation as simple and Seamless as Possible! Newer Harley-Davidson models use what is known as a "Controller Area Network" (CAN) wiring and circuit boards which are mounted in the handlebar switch housings. CAN is a 2 way communication network that eliminates the need for the large amount of wires used in previous models.These wiring harness extensions are used when you are installing Taller handlebars and need to extend the CAN wiring harness in these Harley-Davidson models: 2011-2024 Softails, 2012 and Newer Dynas, 2014-2025 Touring and 2014 and Newer Sportsters.
